About Me
Trained as a clinical psychologist in the NYC area, I have had the privilege of encountering clients from all walks of life, and the honor of working with them in a therapeutic space focused on creating a life well lived.
Much of my graduate training focused on becoming a “generalist”, meaning that I trained across of host of settings with diverse client populations facing different challenges and experiencing differing levels of distress. I have worked in academic medical centers, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, community clinics, and outpatient private practices to gain a breadth of understanding when it comes to psychological conditions and interventions.
I also currently serve as an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Marist University where I instruct undergraduate students and conduct research related to suicide, non-suicidal self-injury (NSSI), online behaviors, and psychotherapist burnout.
