As a licensed psychologist in New York, I provide psychotherapy to older adolescents and adults who may be experiencing a range of mood and anxiety-related challenges. I view my approach as collaborative, transparent, and driven by evidence-based principles grounded in the science of emotions, thoughts and behaviors.
Practicing from a cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) approach, our work will largely focus on your current lived experience and present concerns. From these presenting issues we will work together to formulate strategies and develop skills to help you better cope with life as it happens and move you towards reaching personal goals.
I also incorporate elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) into my work with clients.*
